There is no doubt that the perfect relationship we have created in our minds or from what we see in movies does not exist in real life.
You may get along perfectly with your partner, but that doesn't mean you have to get along well with his family.
You may not like each other or simply not get along, but for your own good you try to keep things in balance.
And here come the holidays and you absolutely have to see them, because they are family days and you want to be with the person you love.
But what can you do to prevent what I call:
Holiday nightmare!
- Together with your partner, you should limit the time you spend with your families so that they do not interfere with your relationship.
- Don't drink even if they offer you a drink, stay sober so you don't lose yourself and say things you shouldn't even say.
- With your relationship, you must be united & face together any difficulties that may arise at the festive table or during joint holidays with the soy beans.
- Go out with your relationship, go for a walk and don't stay locked up at home with your family.
- Don't go to your partner's parents' house empty-handed, bring a gift so they don't have anything bad to say about you.
- Keep your own family traditions, but also learn the traditions of your partner's family so that you can participate as well.
- Be kind and smile.
- Don't stay with them, because they will ruin your relationship.
