Χριστούγεννα-Σχέσεις και στη μέση… Covid!

Christmas-Relationships and in the middle... Covid!

Christmas-Relationships and in the middle... Covid! is the text published in my favorite lifesharing.gr by Christina Lampiri.

The days we are experiencing are truly difficult.

As the second lockdown finds us almost a month before our beloved Christmas.

Most people, in order to boost their morale and take their minds off the pandemic, have already started decorating their homes and have "put up" the Christmas tree.

They may even have made their first kourabiedes and melomakarona!

But what happens when this year's Christmas, in addition to the fear of Covid-19, also finds us...separated? How easily can the most beloved holiday suddenly turn into the most difficult period for a woman?

So because everything in life is, and we can manage everything - if we want to - here are some ideas to remain "thriving", optimistic and happy even in this case.
Let's take them one by one:

1. The fact that there will be measures during the holidays does not mean that you will not be with your family who loves and supports you so much. However, if your family is far away, then the only solution is Skype until you meet again.

2. Because as of this writing, the new operating conditions for shops and markets, should they open, have not been announced. and always with caution, hit the streets and enjoy shopping! If they remain closed, do the same via the Internet. We won't spoil it for you!

3. Talk to your favorite friends on the phone, a good conversation with them will definitely make you feel good inside.

4. Don't talk about your ex for days, or I'll tell you, delete him from all social media so you can have peace of mind.

5. While you're at home, do things that you like, that make you feel good, and who knows, you might discover other hobbies that you didn't know about... If until then they allow us to go for a walk (always) with caution, it will be just what you need to walk a little in the Christmas atmosphere.

The truth is, of course, that due to the situation, not everyone is in the mood to decorate, let alone a newly divorced woman who wanted to spend the holidays with her loved one.

My advice? Don't worry about him anymore. Try to enjoy the holidays with your loved ones, the ones who really want to be by your side.

So let's count down to the most wonderful time of the year. Let's smile through the difficult times and decide that we will not give up for any reason! And don't forget: Christmas is magical. Wishes can come true….
